Price

CHF58.00

This tropical longhorn beetle or Dorysthenes buqueti is an impressive beetle of the subfamily Prioninae.

This specimen is presented in an elegant entomological frame made of transparent glass, offering a detailed view of its fascinating structure. Protected by a plastic film, it will reveal itself even more majestic in reality than in the photo.

This species is particularly known for its larvae, which burrow into the stubble of sugarcane and bamboo, causing significant damage in their natural habitat. An insect that is both destructive in nature and fascinating to observe up close.

All specimens are from ethical captive breeding, respecting their complete life cycle.
